This month (September 2015) we've introduced the Eames Lounger and Ottoman in a pony skin finish. This is a finish we had been keen to produce for some time now. We had a customer who knew our Loungers were the best reproductions available. He was keen for us to replicate an image of this type of chair.

Often, what makes a piece of furniture truly iconic is an element of its design that is truly innovative. This is certainly true of the ea101 chair - part of the Aluminium Group created by designer couple Charles and Ray Eames in 1958, with a faithful reproduction now available from Iconic Interiors.

Here at Iconic Interiors, we're proud to now be offering faithful reproductions of some of the key pieces produced by the father of Danish design Finn Juhl: one such piece being his iconic Poet Sofa.

For Danish designer and architect Juhl, natural and organic forms were key to every piece of furniture that he created. Having originally wanted to become an art historian, Juhl's father pushed him towards architecture, and it's possible that it was partly this lack of formal art training that led to his distinctive 'free art' style. Looking at the Poet Sofa, it's amazing that it was designed as long ago as 1941, as its bold shape and stand-out style make it just as relevant today.

Italian Harry Bertoia was a little different to many of the designers we feature here at Iconic Interiors. While most of those whose designs we stock had lifetime careers in furniture design, Bertoia created a range of just five chairs in his lifetime, using the proceeds of these designs to focus on what he really loved: sculpture.

This month we are excited to introduce the special LC2 chair with feather filled cushions and bespoke coloured frames. The beauty with the LC2 Soft is its bespoke nature. You can decide the frame colour and the fabric to be used. You can let your creative side go wild.

While most of Hans J. Wegner's 500 chair designs were inspired by history, this wasn't always the case. The Flag Halyard Chair, which is now available from Iconic Interiors, was the result of a family trip to the beach - while one of our newest chairs - the Papa Bear Chair - takes its inspiration from the humble teddy bear.
