Introducing the Eames EA 124 Aluminium chair

The Eames 124 Aluminium chair and its accompanying stool/ottoman (Ea 125) is a truly beautiful piece of furniture design. Although the chair is quite minimalist it somehow has the feel of a much more substantial piece of furniture - the Eames Lounger for example.
I left the chair with the photographer this morning. He admitted to me how much he enjoys photographing our iconic furniture pieces. He found the Eames 124 Aluminium chair no exception. What follows is a sequence of photographs of the chair. As with many of the iconic furniture pieces, the furniture is as beautiful from behind as it is from the front.
