The Full Story

The LC7 Swivel chair was originally designed in 1928 by a Charles – Edouard Jeanneret - who is more popularly known as Le Corbusier - with the assistance of Charlotte Perriand.

The LC7 Swivel chair evolved from a series of ideas and experiments, which included fashioning a chair wrapping inner tubes from tyres around a steel frame. Since its release in 1929, it has become a mainstay in chair design, with many (cheap) imitations but if it’s quality you’re after, then it’s best to look no further than our beautifully crafted reproduction.

The original LC7 Swivel Chair can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
